ecosconfig is part of the eCos and RedBoot build systems. This package is used to build the redboot-imx package and is out of date with the mainstream eCos repository. Unless you intend to build redboot-imx, you do not need this package, and if you intend to do eCos development, youshould grab a newer version of eCos and ecosconfig from eCos homepage.
