Directed acyclic graphs can be sorted topographically. Existence of topographic ordering allows writing many graph algorithms efficiently. Many graphs, including most dependency graphs, are acyclic.
There are some algorithms built in: dfs, transpose, transitive closure, transitive reduction, etc.
