The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) allows machines to exchange information about network reachability with other systems speaking the BGP protocol. The global Internet routing system is composed of BGP speakers. OpenBGPD, also known as OpenBSD Border Gateway Protocol Daemon, is a server software program that allows general purpose computers to be used as routers, Route Reflectors, or Route Servers.
